The revision process, described as “the most inclusive in GOTS history”, led to a significant number of changes and improvements, especially (but not only!) on the social side, including new notions such as risk-based due diligence, social audits, living wages.
The new standard, applicable to all textiles products made from organic natural fibres, will come into force in March 2024.
