“Given that women workers make up around 47% of the agricultural workforce globally, and often play crucial quality and value addition roles in supply chains, there is a huge scope for win-win solutions that economically empower women whilst simultaneously building climate resilience and decarbonising supply chains.”

Earlier this week, we highlighted that beyond the impact on the production of many agricultural commodities, climate change is also threatening the farmers behind these supply chains.
